FDOS: Tailored Software for First Nations

Four Directions Intelligence System (FDOS): a secure, multi-tenant software platform for First Nations to assess their internal organizational, housing, infrastructure, governance, funding, and operational capacity. The system uses structured assessments, evidence, gap analysis, scoring, and recommendations to show a Nation where it currently stands, what is missing, what the priorities are, and what actions should come next. Each Nation must have its own isolated workspace and data, with role-based access for administrators, staff, leadership, advisors, and other authorized users. Core functions need to include assessment questionnaires, document/evidence uploads, dashboards, gap reports, action plans, progress tracking, funding/opportunity alignment, and downloadable reports. The platform should include an AI-assisted intelligence layer that helps interpret information, identify gaps, generate draft recommendations, and guide users, while keeping final authority with the Nation and authorized human decision-makers. The immediate development work is to stabilize and organize the existing code, confirm the architecture and database, complete authentication/permissions, build the assessment and gap-analysis engine, connect reporting/dashboard functions, test the system, and prepare it for a real First Nation pilot.
