Lead Generation & Business Development Assistant – SportsJobFinder About SportsJobFinder SportsJobFinder is a specialist sports jobs platform connecting sports professionals with job opportunities across the world. We are currently soft-launching the platform and are looking for a motivated freelancer to help us generate new employer customers and grow the business. Our audience includes sports professionals and organisations across multiple countries, and we have an established social media and email audience that we are looking to monetise and grow. What I’m Looking For I am looking for someone who can help with B2B lead generation and business development. The main objective is to identify organisations that regularly recruit sports staff and approach them about advertising their vacancies on SportsJobFinder. Potential customers include: * Professional football clubs * Football academies * Basketball clubs * Rugby clubs * Universities and colleges * Sports academies * Sports organisations * Governing bodies * Sports businesses * Fitness organisations * Sports recruitment companies * Other organisations regularly hiring sports professionals Your Responsibilities You will be responsible for: * Finding relevant potential employer customers * Researching the correct decision-makers * Finding contact information * Building and maintaining a qualified prospect list * LinkedIn outreach * Email outreach * Following up with prospects * Introducing SportsJobFinder and our employer services * Generating interest and, where possible, booking calls * Keeping track of all outreach and responses * Providing a simple weekly report on activity and results What I’m NOT Looking For I am not looking for someone who simply provides thousands of generic leads. Quality is more important than quantity. I want someone who can identify genuine potential customers, contact the right people and help turn prospects into paying SportsJobFinder customers. Initial Trial I would like to start with a 30-day trial which would be paid. If the freelancer performs well and generates genuine opportunities, I am interested in continuing the relationship and potentially increasing the workload and budget. There may also be an opportunity for commission on new business generated. Ideal Candidate You should have experience in one or more of the following: * B2B lead generation * Business development * Sales development * Appointment setting * LinkedIn outreach * Cold email * Prospect research * SaaS/job board sales * Recruitment sales Experience working with sports organisations or the recruitment industry would be a major advantage, but is not essential.
