Product / Visual Designer for Consumer Social Platform — Web + Mobile

We are building ROOMS, a consumer social platform built around persistent live digital rooms — places with people, history, relationships, identity, and reasons to return. ROOMS is not a video-conferencing product, streaming service, messenger, dating app, or gaming platform. We are looking for a strong Product / Visual Designer who can create a distinctive visual identity for ROOMS and apply it consistently across both public-facing and in-product experiences. ---Initial scope--- - Homepage - Rooms discovery & selection - Sign-in / registration modal system - Main Room product screen - Desktop / tablet / mobile adaptation - Visual System in Figma: typography, color, surfaces, components, states, responsive rules, and motion principles ---What matters most--- - Exceptional visual craft and strong art direction - Strong consumer-product UI - Ability to work with people, media, and social interaction — not just dashboards - Strong Figma skills: Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Variables - Experience designing responsive web and mobile interfaces - Ability to create a reusable visual system, not just isolated screens - Ability to create a recognizable product identity rather than applying a generic UI style ---We are not looking for a generic SaaS/dashboard designer.--- Experience with consumer social, community, entertainment, media, or live products is especially relevant. ---Process--- We will first review portfolios and select a small shortlist. Shortlisted designers will receive the complete Figma brief and may be invited to complete a short paid trial task before the full engagement. Please start your proposal with: 1.
