Cosmetic Formulation Chemist Needed — Reverse Engineer 6 Skincare Products

I'm launching a men's skincare brand and need a formulation chemist to reverse-engineer 6 reference skincare products into usable master formulas for contract manufacturing. Products to analyze: 1. Round Lab 1025 Dokdo Cleanser 2. Some By Mi AHA-BHA-PHA 30 Days Miracle Acne Foam 3. Anessa Perfect UV Skincare Milk (Shiseido) 4. Aestura Atobarrier365 Lotion 5. Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Toner Plus 6. Benton Fresh Men's Wash What I need for each product: - Ingredient breakdown with estimated percentage/concentration ranges (based on INCI order, the 1% labeling rule, and known raw material usage levels — no instrumental lab testing required) - Functional rationale for each ingredient (why it's there, what role it plays) - Suggested master formulation table organized by phase - Target pH and key physical specifications (viscosity, appearance) - Basic batching/compounding guidance Requirements: - Proven experience in cosmetic/skincare formulation (forward formulation and/or reverse engineering) - Please share a sample of PAST REVERSE-ENGINEERING WORK specifically — i.e., a project where you deformulated an existing named commercial product, not just an original formulation you created. This is the most important qualifying criteria. - Familiarity with INCI naming, EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 or similar frameworks, and common suppliers (LotionCrafter, MakingCosmetics, etc.) is a plus Process: I'd like to start with ONE product as a paid trial before committing to all 6, to evaluate quality and fit. If that goes well, we'll proceed with the remaining products. Please include in your proposal: 1. A relevant sample of past reverse-engineering work (redacted is fine) 2. Your price per product and for all 6 together 3. Estimated turnaround time 4. Brief note on your approach/methodology Budget: Open to quotes, but please be realistic — I've received quotes ranging from $50/product to $150/product from other sources and am trying to find the right balance of quality and cost for a startup budget.
