WooCommerce Specialist Needed to Rebuild & Optimise E-commerce Store for Sales

We need an experienced **WooCommerce / E-commerce specialist** to completely rebuild, optimise and improve our existing online store, **Wilbery (wilbery.co.uk)**. The current store is live, but it is not achieving the commercial results we expect. We are looking for someone who can analyse the existing website, identify potential barriers to conversion, and rebuild the store around a significantly better customer experience and stronger sales potential. **This is NOT simply a visual redesign or a theme installation.** We need someone who understands **e-commerce strategy, UX/UI, CRO, SEO, mobile commerce, website performance and customer behaviour.** ### The new store should be: • Modern, premium, attractive and trustworthy • Fast and fully responsive • Mobile-first • Easy and intuitive to navigate • Conversion-focused • SEO-friendly • Technically reliable • Designed around the customer journey and purchasing experience ### The project should include: • Audit of the existing website • Recommendations for improving the overall customer journey • Homepage and navigation redesign • Shop and category optimisation • Product page redesign and optimisation • Cart and checkout optimisation • Mobile UX optimisation • Conversion-focused calls-to-action and trust elements • Related products, cross-selling and upselling opportunities • Review and improvement of shipping/returns presentation • Website speed and performance optimisation • Technical SEO review and optimisation • Review of URLs, metadata, canonicalisation, sitemap and internal linking • Image optimisation and other relevant technical improvements Product pages are particularly important. We want customers to quickly understand **what the product is, why they should want it, why they should trust Wilbery, and why they should buy.** The checkout should be simple, clear and frictionless. The freelancer should be **proactive and commercially minded**, providing recommendations and solutions rather than simply waiting for instructions. We also want to protect and retain valuable existing content and SEO elements wherever appropriate during the rebuild. ### Who we are looking for We are looking for someone with proven experience in **WooCommerce and successful e-commerce projects**. Please provide **2–4 live e-commerce websites** that you have personally designed, developed or significantly improved, and briefly explain your contribution to each. ### Performance-Based Compensation Our upfront budget is currently very limited, so we are proposing a performance-based model: **€50 upfront fee + 5% of verified NET SALES attributable to the rebuilt store.** Net sales will exclude cancelled orders, refunds, taxes and shipping charges. All reasonable corrections, revisions, bug fixes and adjustments required to complete the agreed rebuild will be included **at no additional cost**.
