## Senior Full-Stack Developer Needed to Complete & Finalize Existing Healthcare Platform – Kolkata Preferred We are looking for an **EXCELLENT and highly experienced Full-Stack Developer** to take over, audit, test, improve, debug, and finally complete an existing healthcare platform. ### IMPORTANT: THIS IS NOT A PROJECT TO BUILD FROM SCRATCH Our healthcare website/platform is already **more than 90% developed**, primarily using **Emergent.ai**. A large number of frontend, backend, database, workflow, dashboard, payment, notification, and operational features have already been developed and integrated. We now need an experienced developer who can **understand the existing codebase, test the complete platform end-to-end, identify deficiencies, fix bugs, improve integrations/workflows, make necessary additions or modifications, and bring the entire platform to production-grade completion.** ### About the Platform The platform is an integrated healthcare ecosystem currently covering: * Polyclinic / Multi-speciality OPD * Online Doctor Consultation * Physical / Offline Doctor Consultation * Doctor & Appointment Management * Diagnostic Centre * Pathology / Laboratory Management * Radiology * Online Diagnostic Test & Package Booking * Walk-in Diagnostic Patients * Home Sample Collection * Phlebotomist Management * Pharmacy / Medicine Ordering * Pharmacy Desk & Inventory * Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation * Minor Procedures / Treatment Services * Patient Management * Billing & Invoicing * Payments & Settlements * Reports * Staff / Employee Management * Notifications * Multiple role-based dashboards/workspaces * Complete Clinic / Healthcare Management System There are separate portals/workspaces for different users and employees, including **Patients, Doctors, Reception/Front Desk, Laboratory Staff, Pharmacy Staff, Physiotherapy Staff, other employees, Admin and Super Admin**, etc. ### Scope of Work The selected developer will be expected to take responsibility for the **complete finalization of the platform**, including frontend, backend, database, APIs, integrations, dashboards and all operational workspaces. This will include: 1. Understanding and auditing the complete existing codebase and architecture. 2. Testing **EVERY major workflow end-to-end** from the perspective of actual patients, doctors, staff and administrators. 3. Identifying and fixing existing bugs, broken workflows, incomplete integrations, UI/UX problems and backend issues. 4. Ensuring that frontend actions are correctly connected with backend/database operations. 5. Reviewing every employee workspace/dashboard and making it practical for real-world healthcare operations. 6. Making required **major or minor additions, modifications, customizations or removals** discovered during testing. 7. Ensuring proper role-based access and permissions. 8. Ensuring proper synchronization between Patient, Doctor, Reception, Lab, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Admin and Super Admin systems. 9. Reviewing authentication, security, sessions and access control. 10. Reviewing APIs, third-party integrations, notifications, payments and other connected services. 11. Removing unnecessary/test/dummy data and development artifacts where appropriate. 12. Improving performance, responsiveness and stability. 13. Ensuring excellent usability on desktop, tablet and mobile. 14. Testing edge cases, failed transactions, cancellations, rescheduling, refunds/status changes and other real-world scenarios. 15. Performing final regression testing after changes. 16. Preparing the platform for reliable **production use**. This is **not simply a bug-fixing assignment**. During actual workflow testing, we may jointly identify functionality that needs to be added, changed, redesigned, integrated differently or removed. The developer should be capable of understanding the business requirement and implementing the technically correct solution. ### Developer We Are Looking For We are specifically looking for a **senior-level developer**, not someone who simply relies on AI-generated code without understanding the underlying system. You should have strong experience in: **Full-stack web development, frontend + backend development, databases, APIs, authentication/RBAC, real-time systems, payment/API integrations, debugging existing codebases, deployment, security and production optimization.** Experience with **healthcare software, clinic/hospital management systems, diagnostic/LIS systems, pharmacy systems, SaaS platforms or other complex multi-role applications** will be a major advantage. Experience working with or taking over projects developed using **Emergent.ai / AI-assisted development platforms** will also be preferred. ### Location Requirement – VERY IMPORTANT **INDIA-BASED DEVELOPERS ONLY.** Strong preference will be given to developers located in **Kolkata, West Bengal (ideally Kolkata or nearby)**. This is because we would strongly prefer the ability to **meet face-to-face and work together physically when required**, particularly during final workflow testing and implementation. If you are based outside Kolkata, please clearly mention your city and whether you can travel to Kolkata if required. ### How the Project Will Be Executed We do not want someone to blindly start rewriting the platform. The selected developer should first: **Existing System → Complete Audit → Workflow Testing → Gap/Bug Identification → Required Changes → Implementation → Integration Testing → Regression Testing → Final Acceptance Testing → Production Deployment** Existing functionality that is working properly should **not be unnecessarily rewritten**. We want to preserve the work already completed while professionally fixing and completing what remains. ### Definition of Completion The project will not be considered complete merely because the code has been submitted.
