Seinen Manga Comic Illustration

My new manga project is a mature-themed, Seinen comic that will span roughly 44 pages of a one shot, possibly a few more once pacing is finalized. The full script is ready; what I need now is an illustrator who can translate that narrative into dynamic, high-contrast artwork typical of Seinen magazines—clean yet gritty linework, realistic proportions, atmospheric screentones, and cinematic panel composition. The workflow I have in mind starts with thumbnail layouts, moves to tight pencils, and finishes with inked, toned pages at 300 dpi. I’ll supply page-by-page briefs, character sheets, and reference images. You would return layered files (Clip Studio Paint or Photoshop) plus a print-ready PDF so I can hand everything straight to the printer once we wrap. Deliverables (acceptance criteria): • 44+ one shot, black-and-white with screentones, sized for standard tankōbon trim • A full-color cover illustration (front and back) in the same style • Layered source files and consolidated print PDF, all at 300 dpi minimum • Consistent character design and background detail across every page • Two revision passes per page stage (rough, final) If you’re comfortable handling this action, nuanced expressions, and the darker tone common to Seinen stories, I’d love to see your portfolio samples that fit this aesthetic so we can discuss timeline and milestones.
