Social Media Manager & Video Content Creator (Financial Services)

Summary We're a mortgage advisory and business lending practice looking for a creative-first, AI-assisted content expert to own our social media presence and website content end-to-end — not someone who just runs AI tools and posts the output. Core Responsibilities -Build and maintain a simple, modern website (landing pages, updates, basic SEO) -Plan and create platform-native content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter/X — each post fits the platform, not copy-pasted across -Produce and edit short-form video using AI avatars / digital-twin avatars, converting raw or AI-generated footage into polished, on-brand content -Edit all video/photo content: cuts, captions, sound, pacing, thumbnails -Schedule and publish across all channels using a content calendar and scheduling tools -Stay current on each platform's content and ad policies so posts are never flagged, shadowbanned, or removed (especially finance-related content, which faces extra scrutiny) -Bring original creative concepts and hooks — AI is a production tool, not the idea generator -Report on performance (reach, engagement, saves/shares) and adjust strategy monthly Must-Have Skills -Proven portfolio of video content you personally created/edited (not stock/template work) -Fluency with AI avatar tools (HeyGen, Synthesia, or similar) and AI video/editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, Runway, etc.) -Working knowledge of Meta, TikTok, and Snap content/ad policies, especially for regulated industries (finance) -Website editing ability (Wix/Squarespace/WordPress — no need for custom dev) -Strong independent creative judgment — can pitch content ideas, not just execute briefs Nice-to-Have Experience with financial services, real estate, or other regulated/compliance-sensitive brands Copywriting for captions/scripts What We're NOT Looking For -Beginners, students, or "I can learn this" applicants -Pure AI-prompted content with no editing or creative direction -Agencies who will hand this to a junior after the pitch call To Apply Submit 2–3 samples of video content you personally created or edited (avatar-based or otherwise), plus one paragraph on how you'd approach a mortgage/loan brand's social presence differently from a generic business page.
