Merge Two SOLIDWORKS Parts

I have two separate SOLIDWORKS .sldprt files that must become one clean, fully-parametric part model. The goal is to fuse all features into a single feature tree so the final file behaves exactly like a native part, not an assembly or multi-body workaround. While merging, I need several areas adjusted: • Dimensions and measurements must match the latest spec I will share (holes, overall length, wall thickness, and a few critical clearances). • Certain geometric details—fillets, edge blends, and one complex cut—need smoothing so the combined shape looks intentional rather than “stitched.” Please keep the feature tree tidy, name key features logically, and maintain parent/child relations so I can edit the model later without rebuild errors. Deliverables 1. Final merged .sldprt with all geometry combined into a single solid body. 2. STEP export for cross-platform checking. 3. Brief change log noting every altered dimension or redesigned geometric area. I will provide both source files and dimensional targets as soon as we start.
