Initial & Ongoing Podcast Audio-Video Editing Required

**Podcast Audio & Video Editor Needed – Ongoing Weekly Work** We are looking for an experienced podcast editor to take our raw weekly recordings and turn them into polished, professional, engaging podcast episodes that are ready for publication across major podcast and social media platforms. This is intended to be an **ongoing weekly relationship** with the right editor. ### Podcast Schedule We expect to record approximately **1–2 episodes per week**. Depending on the week, this may consist of: * One episode approximately 45–60 minutes long, or * Two episodes approximately 20–30 minutes each The podcast is a professional educational/discussion-based show involving conversations, case discussions, procedures, and related topics. The editing style should feel polished and professional while still being energetic and engaging. ### Episode Editing We will provide the raw audio/video recordings. Each episode will need to be professionally edited, including: * Remove unnecessary pauses, dead space, mistakes, repeated words, false starts, and obvious verbal slip-ups * Clean up background noise, hiss, hum, and other unwanted sounds * Improve vocal clarity * Balance and normalize audio levels between speakers * Improve pacing so conversations feel natural but concise * Remove sections we identify when necessary * Add tasteful transitions or sound effects when appropriate * Master the final audio so it sounds consistent and professional across headphones, phones, car speakers, etc. We do **not** want the podcast to sound excessively edited or artificial. The final result should feel like a natural conversation that has simply been tightened and professionally produced. ### Podcast Branding & Intro/Outro As part of the initial setup, we also need help establishing the visual and audio identity of the podcast. We would like you to help create: * A professional podcast **logo** * A simplified logo/mark that can be used as a **watermark on every video** * A polished, energetic **intro sequence** * Intro music/theme music that can become recognizable as part of the show * Professional voice-over integrated with the intro music * A matching **outro sequence** * Reusable intro and outro audio/video files * A short disclaimer screen/sequence using disclaimer language that we will provide * Consistent visual branding that can be reused from episode to episode The intro should feel **modern, energetic, premium, and professional** rather than like a generic podcast template. Once the branding package is established, the same general intro/outro and visual identity will be used for future episodes. ### Social Media Content An important part of this project is turning every full podcast into short-form content. For **each episode**, we would like several strong moments identified and edited into short clips suitable for: * Instagram Reels * YouTube Shorts * Other vertical social platforms Clips will generally be approximately **30–60 seconds**. We would like the editor to help identify compelling moments rather than requiring us to provide timestamps for every clip. Short-form videos should include, where appropriate: * 9:16 vertical formatting * Clean, animated captions/subtitles * Highlighted keywords * Speaker framing/cropping * Our logo/watermark * Strong opening hooks * Clean cuts and pacing * Light graphics, zooms, or movement where appropriate to maintain viewer attention The goal is for someone watching a short clip to become interested enough to watch the complete episode. ### Deliverables For each completed podcast episode, we expect: * Fully edited/mastered podcast audio * High-quality WAV file * Ready-to-publish MP3 * Fully edited video version * Several 30–60 second vertical social-media clips * Properly branded video with our watermark/logo * Consistent intro and outro For the initial branding/setup project, we also need: * Podcast logo * Watermark/logo variation * Intro video * Outro video * Intro audio/music/voice-over * Outro audio * Reusable intro/outro stems * Disclaimer sequence/template * Reusable branding assets/templates ### What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who has strong experience with **both podcast audio editing and video/social-media editing**.
