Design a Wooden Gym Equipments

Title: Mecanical Engineer — Wooden Gym Equipments Skills needed: Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, AutoCAD/CAD, Timber Structures, Steel Structures Description: We're building a gym in coastal Nicaragua and need a mecanical engineer to design a the gym equipments in timber. Material: Idealy teak reenforced by stainless steel. You'll need to: Define dimensions based on mechanical and structural constraints based modeled from standard gym equipment — not a fixed blueprint, adjust as needed Calculate loads for dynamic/multi-user use (kipping pull-ups, dropped weight impact — not just static loads) Design wood-to-steel connection details Specify reinforcement at hardware wear points (holes, brackets) Deliverables: Load calculations (PDF) Basic 3D design Fabrication drawings for a carpenter Ideal experience: Timber/steel hybrid structures, fitness or sporting equipment a plus. Must produce drawings clear enough for an independent contractor to build from without direct coordination.
