Edtech Mobile App Project Manager Needed

I’m midway through building a mobile-first Edtech platform and I need a seasoned project manager to keep the development and testing effort on track. All coding is handled by a small distributed team, but they need clear sprint goals, tight QA loops, and decisive leadership so we can hit our launch window without compromising quality. What I expect you to take charge of • Build and maintain a realistic project roadmap that covers every sprint from current alpha through public release. • Translate high-level product requirements into sprint backlogs the developers can execute against. • Run daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retros, using Jira (or a comparable agile tool) to keep work items visible and accountable. • Coordinate closely with our QA engineer to create and enforce test plans, regression cycles, and bug-triage priorities. • Provide weekly progress reports summarizing burn-down, risks, and next steps in plain language the leadership team can act on. • Keep communication flowing among design, engineering, and content stakeholders so no dependency slips through the cracks. Acceptance criteria 1. A living project plan in Jira (or similar) that reflects all current tasks, owners, and deadlines. 2. Documented QA/test plan showing pass/fail criteria for each user story. 3. Weekly written status update delivered every Friday by 17:00 GMT. 4. Successful hand-off to the internal team at launch, including all documentation and retrospective notes. The tech stack revolves around React Native, Firebase, and Stripe, so familiarity with those tools is a plus, but what really matters is your ability to organize people, time, and scope in a fast-moving mobile environment.
