Refrigerated Truck Fleet Dispatcher ($100/Truck per Month)

Kismet Trucking LLC, a U.S. carrier with a 7-truck fleet, needs a hands-on dispatcher to run loads end to end. HIRING CONTACT: kaito@kismettrucking (818) 531-8306 WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Search DAT and other boards; evaluate rate, lane, equipment, appointments, driver hours, and empty miles before booking. - Negotiate rates with brokers and preserve every rate confirmation and written revision. - Maintain load records in our TMS: stops, appointments, references, equipment, driver assignments, status. - Assign drivers and equipment around availability, home time, HOS limits, and route feasibility. - Give clear pickup/delivery instructions; track via driver app, ELD, phone, and email; run check calls with location, ETA, and reefer temp. - Handle temperature-controlled loads: set point, continuous run, washouts, seals, exception escalation. - React fast to late arrivals, appointment conflicts, unloading delays, breakdowns, and rejected - loads. Resolve with the broker or facility before it becomes a claim. - Pursue detention, layover, extra-stop, TONU, and lumper pay: meet notice deadlines, record signed in/out times, collect PODs and receipts, secure written approvals and revised rate cons. - Work claims and disputed deductions with source records and a preserved timeline. Escalate demand letters and withheld payments immediately. Never admit liability or sign a release without our written authorization. - Assemble complete, invoice-ready document packets. Ownership handles the final factoring upload and payment. - Capture driver-pay facts (crew, loaded/empty miles, extra stops, layover, detention). You don't approve or send driver payments. - Give complete shift handoffs so nothing open gets lost.
