Calibration Lab Setup Expert

I’m opening a small, in-house calibration facility and need a seasoned engineer to guide the entire setup from concept to first successful run. The lab will initially service thermometers only, but will be expanded in the future. The accuracy target is medium, yet the workflow, documentation, and traceability must align with NIST requirements from day one. I want practical solutions that balance cost and future scalability rather than over-engineering the space. What I expect from you • Advise when selecting equipment. • Feedback on the draft reports. • Written calibration procedures. • A compliance roadmap that spells out the exact NIST traceability steps and ongoing audit checks • Remote walk-through or live session to review installation and fine-tune processes before we start issuing certificates If you’ve launched a similar lab, especially under NIST guidance, that'd be helpful.
