Documentary Video Editor for Charity Cycle Journey

I need an experienced documentary video editor for an independently funded, non-commercial film about a roughly 700-kilometre charity cycle journey from Mons Barracks towards Marne, supporting the Irish Guards Benevolent Fund. The film is intended for selective circulation, YouTube, Facebook and community audiences. Its deeper themes are remembrance, military service, friendship and the human experience behind the journey. The tone should be direct, warm and understated, with natural humour rather than dramatic sports-style editing. The current inventory contains 531 media files: 97 MOV/MP4 video files and 434 still images from DJI, GoPro-style and phone sources. The material has not yet been fully watched, transcribed or labelled. I initially want a fixed-price discovery phase: review priority footage, identify useful sequences and quotations with filenames and timecodes, and propose a practical story outline. The scope and price of the full edit can then be agreed. Please provide relevant documentary examples, explain your role in them, and propose a realistic fee for the discovery stage.
