Freelance IT Equipment & Remote Access Coordinator Location: Any State in US. (Texas or Florida is preferred) Job Type: Freelance / Part-Time Compensation: $500 per month Start Date: Immediately after receiving and confirming possession of the laptop About the Role We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy individual located in US to provide basic physical support and secure storage for a company-issued laptop. This is a low-hours freelance position. The laptop will remain at your location, and you will be responsible for keeping the device powered, connected to a stable internet connection, physically secure, and available when needed. You may occasionally be asked to assist with simple tasks such as restarting the laptop, checking its power or internet connection, reconnecting approved equipment, or helping troubleshoot basic physical connectivity issues. Remote access to the laptop may be used only through company-approved and authorized remote-access methods.

Responsibilities

Receive and securely maintain the company-issued laptop. Keep the laptop in a safe, private, and stable location. Maintain reliable power and high-speed internet connectivity. Keep the laptop powered on and available when requested. Perform occasional physical actions such as restarting the laptop or checking cables/network connectivity. Notify us promptly of internet outages, power outages, hardware problems, or other issues affecting availability. Do not install software, modify security settings, access company information, or allow anyone else to use the laptop unless specifically authorized. Maintain confidentiality and protect the equipment from unauthorized physical access. Return or ship the laptop when requested.

Requirements

Must currently reside in US. Must have a secure private location where the laptop can remain. Reliable high-speed home internet connection. Reliable electricity and ability to keep the device connected when required. Basic familiarity with computers, Wi-Fi, routers, and restarting/troubleshooting devices. Good communication and ability to respond reasonably quickly when assistance is needed. Must be dependable and comfortable taking responsibility for company-owned equipment. Must be willing to verify identity and location before receiving company equipment.

Compensation

$500 per month, beginning after the laptop has been successfully delivered, received, and confirmed. The position requires minimal routine work, but the freelancer must maintain the laptop securely and be reasonably available if physical assistance with the device is required.
