California-Licensed Engineer for Commercial Project

Draftworks Designs LLC is seeking a **California-licensed Civil or Structural Engineer** for ongoing project-based collaboration. The first assignment is a small commercial site improvement project in Martinez, California requiring development of **permit-ready drawings, structural calculations, and signed/stamped engineering documents**. The engineer should be able to review project requirements, develop the design from the information and field dimensions we provide, prepare the necessary structural details and calculations, and support reasonable plan-check revisions through permit approval. We are looking for someone who can work remotely with our team on a project-by-project basis and potentially support additional commercial and residential projects in the future. **Requirements:** * Active California PE or SE license * Experience with concrete, masonry, structural details, and permit drawings * Ability to personally sign and stamp the engineering documents * Provide permit-ready PDF drawings and calculations * CAD/DWG deliverables preferred * Responsive communication and reliable turnaround Please include your **California license number, direct email, phone number, typical turnaround, and examples of similar work** with your proposal.
