CourseChef – Academic Content & Interactive Learning Developer

I am building CourseChef (prepcuet.in), an online learning platform focused on providing structured, high-quality digital study material and interactive learning experiences for students. I am looking for a freelancer who can work with me on creating academic content from textbooks, PDFs, reference material, and other educational sources, and turning that material into well-structured digital learning content. The work combines academic research, content development, educational visualization, and React/JavaScript development. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON You will receive academic source material such as textbooks, PDFs, chapters, notes, and reference resources. Your work may involve: * Reading and understanding the source material. * Researching and cross-checking information where required. * Converting source material into clear, structured study material. * Breaking chapters into appropriate topics and subtopics. * Writing explanations, definitions, examples, comparisons, tables, formulas, and important points. * Identifying information that is important for examinations and learning. * Creating diagrams, visual explanations, and other learning aids. * Identifying concepts that can be better understood through interactive elements. * Building interactive React/JavaScript components where appropriate. * Reviewing and refining the final material for accuracy, clarity, and usability. INTERACTIVE LEARNING CourseChef is not intended to be just a collection of static text. Where appropriate, concepts can be represented through interactive learning elements. Examples include: * Interactive mathematical graphs * Geometry visualizations * Coordinate-system diagrams * Formula visualizers * Interactive calculators * Physics visualizations * Step-by-step mathematical demonstrations * Interactive tables * Comparisons * Timelines * Concept diagrams * Parameter-based simulations * Interactive questions * Other educational visualizations The purpose is not to add animation simply for visual appeal. An interactive element should have a clear educational purpose and help the student understand, explore, or practice a concept. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS You should be comfortable working with: * JavaScript * React * HTML/CSS * SVG * Interactive visualizations * Responsive UI development Experience with Framer Motion, Lucide React, charting libraries, visualization libraries, or similar tools is useful. You should be able to take an academic concept and think about how it can be represented effectively in a digital learning environment. ACADEMIC AND CONTENT REQUIREMENTS You should be able to: * Work independently from books, PDFs, and reference material. * Understand concepts rather than simply rewrite the source. * Research and verify information. * Explain concepts clearly for students. * Identify important examination-related information. * Organize large amounts of information into logical learning material. * Follow detailed content and formatting requirements. * Maintain consistency across different topics. * Revise content based on feedback. * Pay close attention to factual accuracy. Experience with CUET, NCERT, CBSE, competitive examinations, tutoring, teaching, or educational content development is a strong advantage. CURRENT SUBJECT AREAS Initial assignments may include subjects such as: * Mathematics * Physics * Chemistry * General Test * History * Political Science * Geography * Economics * Accountancy * Business Studies * English * Hindi * Other academic subjects as required You do not need to be an expert in every subject. What is important is that you have strong fundamentals in at least some subjects and can independently understand and research unfamiliar academic topics. EXAMPLE Suppose the source material covers rectangular hyperbolas. The assignment would not simply be to copy the textbook explanation. You may need to understand the concept, research and verify the mathematics, structure the study material, create useful diagrams, and determine whether an interactive visualization would improve the learning experience. For example, an interactive React component could allow a student to enter an equation such as: (x-1)(y-1)=4 The component could then dynamically display the curve and relevant mathematical properties such as asymptotes, vertices, foci, and other related information. The exact implementation will depend on the concept and its educational value. CONTENT QUALITY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN VOLUME This is not a generic content-writing project. The material will be used directly by students, so accuracy, clarity, structure, consistency, and educational usefulness are more important than producing a large number of words or lines of code. TRIAL ASSIGNMENT The project will begin with a small paid trial based on an actual academic topic. The trial may involve: * Understanding provided source material. * Creating structured study content. * Researching and verifying information. * Identifying useful visual or interactive opportunities. * Implementing an interactive element using React/JavaScript where appropriate. * Following the provided content and technical specifications. The purpose of the trial is to understand the quality of your academic work, research ability, communication, frontend skills, and attention to detail.
