Multi-Vendor Order Sheet Spreadsheet

I’m looking for a clean, easy-to-use spreadsheet that lets me log dozens of orders across several vendors in one place. It must automatically add up quantities and costs as I enter line items, offer a dropdown menu so I can pick the vendor instead of typing it each time, and change colour or style the moment an order shifts from “Pending” to “Shipped”, “Back-ordered”, or any other status we define together. I don’t need a standalone app—Excel or Google Sheets is perfect as long as the file is ready to go the moment I open it. The layout should be flexible enough for future columns, yet locked where formulas live so nobody breaks them by accident. If you can include a quick instructions tab and a bit of sample data so I can see everything working before I plug in real numbers, even better. Once the template calculates totals, filters vendors through dropdowns, and highlights status automatically, the job is done.
