Tableau Financial Dashboard from SQL

I want a dynamic Tableau dashboard that pulls live financial data directly from our SQL database and turns it into clear, decision-ready visuals. Once connected, the workbook should automatically refresh, highlight key metrics such as revenue, expenses, cash flow, and profit margins, and allow simple drill-downs by period, business unit, and region. Prefer Tableau’s native SQL connector so no ETL layer is required; any calculated fields or parameter controls you create need to run efficiently on the data source itself. The final dashboard must be neatly formatted for both desktop and tablet viewing, with intuitive filters and tooltips so non-technical stakeholders can explore the numbers without guidance.
