Add course listing and registration to WordPress site without losing SEO

SBD Institute is a management consulting and corporate training firm in Nairobi, Kenya. Our website is sbd-institute.com and it runs on WordPress with Yoast SEO. It already gets steady Google traffic for leadership, sales, board governance and business management training. WHAT WE NEED We want to list dated public courses and let people register online. Think of devimpactinstitute.com and lpcentre.com. A visitor finds a course, sees the next dates and venue, and registers in a few clicks. WHY SEO COMES FIRST In the last three months Google Search Console shows 8,779 impressions and 134 clicks, with an average position of 12.1. Several pages rank between positions 2 and 9 for leadership and business management searches. We will not risk that. This work must be additive. It must not harm our current rankings or how our pages appear in Google and AI search answers. SCOPE (please price only this) 1. Take a full backup first. Use a staging copy if our host supports it. 2. Install and configure one free events and bookings plugin. We suggest Events Manager (free version). Another free plugin is fine if you explain why. No paid plugins or add-ons. 3. Set up these course categories: Leadership and Management, Sales and Business Development, Business and Strategy, Customer Experience, Governance and Compliance, HR and Organisational Development. 4. Build an Upcoming Courses page at a clean URL such as /upcoming-courses/. It lists each session with date, venue, format (classroom or online), duration and a fee note. Visitors can filter by category, location and month. 5. Build the single session page with description, who should attend, dates, venue and a Register button. 6. Build the registration form with name, email, phone, organisation and number of participants. Send a confirmation email to the participant and an alert to us. We must be able to view and export registrations as CSV. 7. Enter five upcoming sessions that we supply. 8. Match our current theme fonts and colours. The pages must work well on mobile. 9. Add Upcoming Courses to the main menu and link to it from our existing /training/ page. 10. Give us a short screen recording or written guide on adding, editing and cancelling a session. SEO RULES - Do not change the URL, title, meta description, H1 or body text of any existing page. - New pages must be indexable, appear in the Yoast sitemap, and carry a unique title and meta description that we approve. - Course pages use a /courses/ style URL path, not /events/. - Add Event structured data (JSON-LD) that passes Google's Rich Results Test. - Course details must sit in plain HTML, not load only through JavaScript, so Google and AI tools can read them. - No new redirects, noindex tags or robots.txt changes without our written approval. - Send us the mobile PageSpeed Insights score before you start and after you finish. The score must not drop.
