AI Finance Analyst & Dashboard Builder

I’m preparing a series of projects that help local organisations understand the true cost of adopting AI solutions. To make the right investment calls, I need a finance-savvy partner who can map out both capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx) for each proposed AI initiative, benchmark those figures against our market, and then turn the findings into a clear, interactive dashboard. The core experience I’m looking for is: • Investment capital expenditure analysis • Operational expenditure analysis • Building AI dashboards • Finance and accounting fundamentals You’ll start by doing user requirements analysis and assessment, structuring and auditing a financial model that captures hardware, software-licensing, implementation services, and ongoing support costs etc. Ideally, once the model is validated, you’ll visualise the numbers in a dashboard— use whichever BI platform you’re fastest with; Tableau, Power BI or AI tool are all acceptable as long as the final product is intuitive and drill-down ready. Or build one to be used in the business. Deliverables for each engagement: 1. A detailed CapEx/OpEx workbook (probably online Google Sheets, with clear assumptions). 2. A live dashboard connected to that data set, showing totals, ROI projections, and scenario analysis sliders. (optional, can be included) 3. A short slide deck summarising insights and recommendations. Access to relevant data e.g. existing vendor quotes, internal cost data, and market benchmarks can be provided later or during requirements analysis. Your job is to translate them into a decision-ready format and validate the realistic costing. Strong communication, an eye for details and number crunching skills are important and because you will join me in stakeholder calls to walk through the numbers.
