Hospital Management Analysis

Project Title : Hospital Management Client : KITS IT HUB Duration : Jul-2026 Environment : Microsoft Power BI Description: - Developed a Hospital Management Analytics solution using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, SQL, and Power BI by integrating patient, appointment, billing, pharmacy, and laboratory data. Performed data transformation and created interactive dashboards to monitor KPIs such as admissions, revenue, doctor performance, bed occupancy, and inventory for data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

 Analyzed business data from CSV and Excel files by preparing and validating datasets for reporting and dashboard development.  Supported data ingestion by organizing source files into ADLS Gen2 landing areas and ensuring data availability for analytical reporting.  Created and maintained SQL views by transforming and joining backend tables to provide clean, business-ready datasets for Power BI reporting.  Developed reporting datasets by applying data filtering, aggregations, and business rules to improve accuracy and usability of analytical reports.  Prepared optimized data sources for Power BI dashboards by exposing SQL views and creating structured datasets for visualization.  Designed analytical reports using Power BI visuals such as Bar Charts, Column Charts, Line Charts, Pie Charts, KPI Cards, Tables, and Slicers to analyze business trends and performance.  Created and optimized Power BI DAX measures using functions like SUM, COUNT, DISTINCTCOUNT, CALCULATE, FILTER, and Time Intelligence to calculate KPIs and business metrics.  Developed calculated measures and interactive dashboards for sales analysis, inventory tracking, trend analysis, and performance reporting.  Performed data validation and reconciliation between source files, SQL views, and Power BI reports to ensure accurate and reliable business insights.
