I’m getting ready to open a new restaurant in Brighton under LIBERA BRIGHTON PTY LTD and need a Victoria-based resident director who can stay on our board for about 12–24 months. All day-to-day operations will be handled by an onsite management team; your contribution will centre on statutory oversight, governance and liquor-licence compliance. Because I value Experience in hospitality industry governance above all other backgrounds, I’m keen to talk with directors who already understand regulatory nuances around food, beverage and licensing—even if you haven’t formally sat on a hospitality board before. You must already live in Victoria, hold (or be able to obtain) an Australian Director ID, and be willing to complete the Victorian liquor-licence New Entrant Training. Key items I’ll set up for you: a clear directors’ agreement, appropriate indemnities and D&O cover. In return, please outline your suburb or regional location, the annual fee you would require for the role, and how soon you could accept an appointment so the licence process can move forward quickly.
