Über den Job

Hello, I’m looking for a software/web developer who could help me turn an idea into a simple, user-friendly platform. The concept is similar in some ways to NFC digital business cards. With these, a physical NFC card is linked to a unique user profile, which can be opened simply by tapping the card against a smartphone. My idea would use the same principle, but for storing and accessing documents and images. Each customer would receive a physical NFC card, also containing a QR code, which I am able to manufacture and programme myself. The card would be linked to that customer’s unique account. When the customer taps the NFC card against their phone, or scans the QR code, they would be taken directly to their own simple user area. From there, they could: - Create folders - Upload images, receipts and scanned documents - View and manage previously uploaded files - Organise their files within their account The key part of the idea is simplicity. I don’t want users to have to remember an email address, username or password. Instead, access would be through a unique link/token associated with their physical NFC/QR card. Ideally, without the card or its unique link, there would be no straightforward way of accessing the account. From an admin side, I would need to be able to create and manage customer accounts, associate each account with an NFC/QR card, and potentially manage an annual subscription for the service. I can handle the manufacture, printing and programming of the physical NFC/QR cards, so I’m mainly looking for someone who can develop the web/software side of the project. The files being stored would primarily be things such as receipts, photographs and scanned documents rather than highly sensitive information. However, I would still want the platform to follow sensible security and data-protection practices. The purpose of this platform is to allow vehicle enthusiasts to securely upload and store their vehicle’s data—such as invoices, receipts, repair bills, service history—in one location that can then be sold along with the vehicle. This eliminates missing information even if the NFC card is lost since hidden NFC labels could also be placed in vehicles as backups. This ensures transparency for buyers while helping avoid issues like stolen vehicles or falsified histories. I’m initially looking to create a relatively simple MVP rather than an unnecessarily complicated system, with the possibility of developing it further if the concept proves successful. The design should reflect simplicity and intuitiveness akin to "Apple product" aesthetics—clean and user-friendly for all age groups. Additionally: - Users should start with a fixed storage amount tied to their card but have options to expand storage if needed without incurring high costs on my end. - Attached images are included as references for my vision; these were created using non-specialized software but convey the core idea clearly. If this sounds like something you could build, please get in touch. I’d be interested to hear how you would approach the project, what technology you would suggest using, an approximate development timescale, and an indication of cost. Thank you! Harvey
