## VIDEO EDITING STYLE My content is based on business stories, company strategies, marketing psychology, entrepreneurship, and motivational business stories. The editing should feel: - Fast-paced - Cinematic - Premium - Modern - Story-driven - Curiosity-focused - Professional, but not boring - Similar to high-quality Indian business/storytelling Shorts The goal is to make the viewer keep watching until the end. --- ## 1. VIDEO FORMAT - Aspect ratio: 9:16 vertical - Resolution: 1080 × 1920 - Duration: Usually 30–60 seconds - Keep the pacing fast. - Avoid unnecessary pauses, dead space, and long static shots. --- ## 2. FIRST 2–3 SECONDS — MOST IMPORTANT The opening must immediately grab attention. Use: - Quick cuts - Strong visual - Large keyword text - Zoom/punch-in - Sound effect where appropriate - Relevant B-roll immediately Do NOT start with a boring static talking-head shot. The first few seconds should make the viewer think: "Wait… what happened?" or "How is that possible?" --- ## 3. TALKING-HEAD EDITING When I am speaking on camera: - Remove unnecessary pauses. - Remove "umm", "aaa", mistakes, and dead space. - Use subtle punch-ins/punch-outs. - Change framing every few seconds when appropriate. - Don't overuse zoom effects. - Keep my face looking natural. - Use B-roll whenever the story allows it. The talking-head footage should support the story, not dominate the entire video. --- ## 4. B-ROLL B-roll is VERY important. Whenever I mention: - A company → show the company/logo/product/office - A person → show the person - Money → show relevant money/business visuals - A product → show the actual product - A country/city → show relevant location footage - A historical event → show relevant archival footage/photos - A business strategy → show visuals that explain the strategy - A statistic → visually represent the statistic Use relevant footage instead of random stock footage. The B-roll should change frequently enough to maintain attention. --- ## 5. VISUAL STORYTELLING Don't just put random clips behind my voice. The visuals should explain what I'm saying. For example: If I say: "McDonald's didn't make money only by selling burgers." Show: Burger → restaurant → real estate/location → money/business graphic. The viewer should understand the story even better by watching the visuals. --- ## 6. TEXT / CAPTIONS Use captions throughout the video. Captions should be: - Clean - Bold - Easy to read - Properly timed with my speech - Not too small - Not covering my face Highlight important words or phrases. Example: "THIS ONE DECISION" "CHANGED THE COMPANY FOREVER" Don't make every single word a different animation. Keep the typography premium and consistent. --- ## 7. IMPORTANT WORD EMPHASIS When I say an important word, visually emphasize it. For example: "Apple lost BILLIONS." Make BILLIONS visually stand out. Use: - Size change - Slight animation - Highlight - Punch-in - Appropriate sound effect But don't overdo it. --- ## 8. RE-HOOK / MID-VIDEO RETENTION If the script contains a re-hook, the editing should make it feel important. Example: "But here's the crazy part..." At this moment: - Slight music change - Quick visual transition - Punch-in - Strong text - Short sound effect This should feel like the story is about to reveal something important. --- ## 9. TRANSITIONS Use simple, modern transitions. Preferred: - Hard cuts - Whip transitions when appropriate - Zoom transitions - Motion transitions - Match cuts - Fast B-roll changes Avoid: - Excessive flashy transitions - Overused spinning effects - Random effects - Cheap-looking templates The story should be the focus. --- ## 10. SOUND DESIGN Sound design is very important. Use subtle sound effects for: - Text appearing - Important reveals - Zooms - Scene changes - Money/business moments - Suspense moments - Major twists Examples: - Whoosh - Impact - Click - Pop - Subtle riser - Bass hit Don't put a sound effect on every cut. The sound design should feel professional and cinematic, not noisy. --- ## 11. BACKGROUND MUSIC Use background music that matches the story. For example: Business success → motivational/cinematic Mystery → subtle suspense Company downfall → darker emotional music Marketing trick → modern energetic music The music should support my voice, NOT overpower it. Keep the voice clearly louder than the music. --- ## 12. PACING The video should constantly move forward. Avoid: - Long static shots - Long pauses - Repeated visuals - Unnecessary introductions - Slow animations - Empty sections Generally, change something visually every 1–3 seconds, but don't force a cut if the shot is already working. The pacing should follow the narration. --- ## 13. GRAPHICS / ANIMATIONS Use simple graphics when they help explain the story. Examples: - Revenue numbers - Company growth - Market share - Timeline - Before vs After - Price comparison - Simple arrows - Charts - Maps - Product comparisons Keep graphics clean and easy to understand. --- ## 14. ZOOM EFFECTS Use subtle camera movement on talking-head footage. Examples: - 100% → 108% - 108% → 100% - Slight left/right movement Use zooms to emphasize important statements. Don't constantly zoom in and out. --- ## 15. VISUAL EMPHASIS When something important happens in the story, make the edit react to it. Example: "The company lost ₹1,000 crore." At that exact moment: - Show the relevant visual - Display "₹1,000 CRORE" - Add a subtle impact sound - Slight punch-in The editing should make important moments FEEL important. --- ## 16. COLOR Use a clean, premium color grade. Skin tones should look natural. The overall video should have a consistent visual identity across all videos. Don't use extreme saturation or unrealistic colors. --- ## 17. HOOK → STORY → TWIST → CONCLUSION The editing should follow the structure of the script: ### HOOK Fast + attention-grabbing ### STORY Smooth storytelling + relevant B-roll ### RE-HOOK Increase suspense/curiosity ### REVEAL/TWIST Strong visual + sound de
