This role consolidates two existing Cisco-focused network positions (Senior and Principal) into a single Infrastructure Engineer role covering network and telephony support.

The position owns Cisco infrastructure patching, daily incident management, change management and testing, AGCS coordination, and recurring AZL reporting, while also supporting legacy call recording platforms. It carries forward the remaining DC Exit project work through close (targeted September) and supports transition from Cisco to Content Guru.

As DC Exit concludes and the Content Guru migration progresses, the role is expected to right-size ongoing Cisco support in line with decreasing demand.

Business Context

and Key Challenges:

Supports Cisco network and telephony

infrastructure, including legacy call recording platforms, with

coordination into AGCS and recurring AZL operational reporting;

First 3–6 months: close out remaining

DC Exit deliverables (target completion September), maintain

incident/patch cadence without disruption, and begin supporting the

Cisco-to-Content Guru cutover for telephony;

Key priorities: DC Exit wind-down and

clean handover, Cisco-to-Content Guru migration support, and progressively

right-sizing the Cisco support model as legacy demand decreases.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute and coordinate Cisco

infrastructure patching cycles across network and telephony platforms,

minimizing service impact;

Manage and resolve daily incidents

across Cisco network, telephony, and legacy call recording platforms

within SLA;

Submit, test, and verify

infrastructure and telephony changes through the change management

process, confirming successful implementation;

Coordinate with AGCS on network and

telephony support activities and recurring status/operational reporting;

Produce and maintain recurring AZL

reporting on incident, change, and infrastructure health metrics;

Deliver remaining DC Exit project

tasks through close, ensuring documented handover of

migrated/decommissioned components;

Support the Cisco-to-Content Guru

telephony transition, including maintenance verification and knowledge

transfer for legacy call recording platforms;

Progressively scale down and document

the Cisco support model (runbooks, lessons learned) as the platform is

retired.

Requisitos e qualificações

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Hands-on Cisco network infrastructure

engineering (routing, switching, patching) — senior-to-principal depth (7+

years);

Cisco

telephony / legacy call recording platform experience, including change

testing and maintenance verification;

ITIL-aligned incident and change

management experience in a regulated enterprise environment;

Working knowledge of AGCS

coordination and recurring operational/status reporting practices;

Fluent English, written and spoken:

able to run stakeholder-facing calls and interview in English;

Experience working across

international, multicultural teams and time zones;

Strong ownership and autonomy under

incident pressure, with clear, structured stakeholder communication.Preferred Skills:

Prior

experience migrating to or operating Content Guru or a comparable cloud

telephony/CCaaS platform;

Experience in data center exit /

infrastructure decommissioning programs;

Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE) or

equivalent telephony/call-recording platform certifications;

Experience in insurance or other

regulated, enterprise-scale environments.

Experience

Requirements

7+ years in network and telephony

infrastructure engineering; scope should span senior through

principal-level responsibility;

Open to Senior or Principal level

depending on candidate depth — principal-level candidates should show

independent ownership and informal technical mentoring;

Demonstrated delivery in

enterprise-scale, regulated environments, ideally including migration or

decommissioning programs.

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer

Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience;

Cisco

certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE) preferred; telephony or call-recording

platform certifications a plus.

Working Model and Collaboration:

Main stakeholders: AGCS, Allianz Life

(AZL), and internal ATA network/telephony teams across relevant time

zones.

Flexibility

expected for patch windows, major incidents, and DC Exit / Content Guru

cutover milestones outside standard hours.
