Travel website redesign and development for Padmaats.co.za using Domains.co.za Site Builder

PADMAATS.CO.ZA – TRAVEL WEBSITE REDESIGN & DEVELOPMENT I am looking for an experienced website designer/developer to completely redesign and expand Padmaats.co.za, a South African travel brand. The existing website is hosted with Domains.co.za and currently uses the Domains.co.za Site Builder. My preference is to retain this platform if the required functionality can be achieved successfully. The new Padmaats website will evolve from a simple tour website into a scalable travel discovery, content, affiliate booking, Padmaats Journeys and merchandise platform. Phase 1 will focus primarily on Namibia and will include: • Modern, mobile-first travel website redesign • Approximately 30–38 launch pages/URLs using approximately 12–15 reusable layouts/templates • Namibia destination and road-trip content • Travel Guides / “From the Road” articles • Flights, accommodation, car hire and activities sections • Affiliate travel links and selected third-party booking integrations • Padmaats Journeys and traveller interest/enquiry forms • Interactive maps/route content where appropriate • Small online merchandise shop with cart, checkout, products and variants • South African payment gateway capability • Newsletter/email integration • WhatsApp and enquiry functionality • SEO setup and Google indexing requirements • Analytics and affiliate outbound-click tracking • Cookie/privacy functionality • Fast, responsive mobile performance • Secure staging, testing and launch IMPORTANT – EXISTING PLATFORM Please do not automatically propose migrating the website to WordPress simply because that is your preferred platform. Option A (preferred): Build the new website using the existing Domains.co.za Site Builder. If you believe the Domains.co.za Site Builder cannot satisfactorily meet the project requirements, please identify the specific technical limitations and then provide an alternative recommendation (Option B) with the reason for migration, expected costs and ongoing costs. Experience with Domains.co.za Site Builder, travel/content websites, affiliate integrations, e-commerce, SEO and analytics will be highly advantageous. Please include in your proposal: • Relevant websites you have designed • Any travel/tourism websites you have completed • Experience with Domains.co.za Site Builder, if applicable • Your proposed platform and why • Estimated project timeframe • Fixed/estimated development cost • Any recurring hosting, maintenance, plugin or licence costs • What post-launch support is included Padmaats must retain full ownership and administrator access to the domain, hosting, website, analytics, payment accounts, content and relevant third-party accounts. The finished website must not be locked to the original developer. A comprehensive Website Design & Development Brief has already been prepared and is attached. Please review the attached brief before submitting a detailed proposal. This is a serious long-term travel platform project rather than a basic 5-page brochure website.
