Design Steel Gantry & Ladders

I need a qualified structural engineer to design a steel access gantry and two caged ladders that will serve everyday operational access to a pair of cold-water storage tanks. The entire arrangement must be engineered and justified in accordance with EN 14122, covering load-bearing capacity, stability, fixings and any additional checks that standard requires. You will be working from site measurements, sketches and photographs that I will supply. Once we have agreed the layout, I’ll also provide the tank manufacturer’s data so that connections and clearances are resolved correctly. Please submit a detailed project proposal that explains how you will: • develop the structural model and calculations (software of your choice is fine, as long as the output is traceable); • produce general arrangement drawings, fabrication details and bolt/masonry anchor schedules ready for my fabricator; • demonstrate compliance with EN 14122 and any relevant sections of Eurocode 3; • outline your review process in case the fabricator requests minor alterations. Acceptance criteria: a full calculation package signed by a chartered engineer, PDF and DWG drawing files suitable for fabrication, and a short method statement confirming that the final design can be erected safely without temporary works beyond standard lifting equipment. If you have previous examples of similar gantries or ladder systems, feel free to reference them, but the key thing is a clear, step-by-step proposal so I can see exactly how you intend to deliver.
