Scientific Investigation: Tactile Sensation & Thought Communication

Research Scientist Needed — Tactile Sensation & Spontaneous Thought Communication I am looking for a qualified scientist, neuroscientist, cognitive scientist, or experimental researcher to help me investigate an unusual subjective experience involving tactile sensations and spontaneous thoughts that I experience as potentially communicative, somewhat analogous to how people experience communication during prayer. I am seeking someone who can approach this scientifically and without assuming in advance what the underlying explanation is. Project goals I would like assistance with: * Developing a rigorous experimental protocol to document the experiences. * Measuring tactile sensations using appropriate physiological or sensory equipment where possible. * Recording the timing and content of spontaneous thoughts. * Establishing objective criteria that could distinguish ordinary coincidence, expectation, sensory effects, or other explanations from a reproducible communication effect. * Designing blinded or controlled experiments to reduce confirmation bias. * Analyzing the resulting data statistically. * Determining whether the phenomenon can be independently replicated. Ideal background Experience in one or more of the following would be valuable: * Neuroscience * Cognitive science * Psychology * Psychophysics * Human-computer interaction * Brain-computer interfaces * Experimental design * Signal processing * Statistical analysis I am looking for a researcher who is comfortable investigating an unusual hypothesis without dismissing it prematurely and without treating it as established fact before evidence supports it. The immediate priority is to develop a safe, ethical, scientifically testable protocol and begin collecting objective data.
