Residential AC/DC Distribution Board Design

I am putting together the electrical backbone for a new home and need a complete design for both the AC Distribution Board (ACDB) and the DC Distribution Board (DCDB). The system must serve typical residential loads safely and efficiently, and I want surge protection built in from the outset. You are free to select the most suitable brands and models for breakers, SPDs, busbars, enclosures, meters, and any other components; I’m looking for unbiased, performance-driven recommendations rather than being locked into a single manufacturer. Local code compliance and best-practice wiring conventions are non-negotiable.
