Laravel Customer Platform Development

I’m building a custom, customer-facing web application on Laravel and need the user-authentication layer completed to production standard. The core of the project is already scaffolded in Laravel 10 with a fresh Git repository; what’s missing is a secure, flexible sign-up / sign-in flow that can serve as the foundation for future modules such as payment integration or live-chat support. Scope of work • Design and implement registration, login, password-reset, and email-verification flows using Laravel Breeze or Jetstream—whichever best fits streamlined deployment. • Connect the auth logic to an existing MySQL database (migrations are welcome if additional tables or pivots are required). • Apply middleware to protect routes and demonstrate role-based access control with at least two roles: “customer” and “admin.” • Write concise README-level documentation so any developer joining later can install, configure, and extend the codebase in minutes. • Push all changes through Git; each commit should be descriptive and easy to follow. Acceptance criteria 1. New users can register, verify email, log in, and reset forgotten passwords. 2. Auth routes are fully tested with PHPUnit / Pest and reach 90 % coverage. 3. Admin-only dashboard route returns HTTP 403 for non-admin users. 4. Code passes php-cs-fixer standards and is PSR-12 compliant. If you favour Laravel Sanctum, Fortify, or another auth package and can justify why it adds value, feel free to propose it—flexibility is welcome as long as security and maintainability remain top priorities.
