Evening Retail Chat Sales Assistant

We are an established UK fashion business looking for ONE reliable person to manage our customer messages during evenings and weekends. This is not an agency position. We want the same individual working with us consistently, learning our products and getting to know how we communicate with our customers. Working Hours – UK Time Monday–Friday: 6pm–10pm Saturday: 10am–6pm Sunday: 12pm–6pm Approximately 34 hours per week. Your main role will be responding to customers through: * Facebook Messenger * Instagram * WhatsApp Business You will answer questions about products, prices, sizing and availability, help customers choose the right products and, most importantly, turn enquiries into sales. You will be provided with product photos, prices, sizing information and clear instructions. Our daytime warehouse staff can also provide stock information before your evening shift begins. When messages are quiet, you will be expected to follow up previous customer enquiries and potential sales. VERY IMPORTANT – NO AI-GENERATED CUSTOMER REPLIES We do not want our customer messages to sound like AI, automated responses or copied scripts. We need a real person having natural conversations with our customers. Replies should be friendly, personal and suited to each individual customer. You can use the product information and guidance we provide, but messages should be written naturally in your own words. We want customers to feel like they are speaking directly with a member of our team. We need someone who: * Has excellent written English * Sounds natural and friendly when messaging * Can adapt their replies to each customer * Replies quickly * Has customer service or sales experience * Is confident using Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp * Is comfortable selling higher-value fashion products * Can work independently * Is reliable and available consistently during the stated hours * Is interested in long-term work if the trial goes well IMPORTANT: INDIVIDUAL FREELANCERS ONLY. If you are reliable, good with our customers and able to generate sales, this can become a regular long-term position.
