Remote Video Editing and On-Site Videography

Freelance Video Editor & Videographer Company: 7D Design Role: Freelance Video Editor & Videographer Experience: Minimum 2 years Employment Type: Freelance / Part-Time Work Mode: Remote for video editing + On-site shoots as required Location: Bengaluru Department: Video / Creative About the Role 7D Design is looking for a skilled Freelance Video Editor & Videographer with at least 2 years of relevant experience to support our video and social media projects on a project basis.

The role

involves shooting reels and social media content, handling DSLR/professional cameras and mobile shoots, and editing videos remotely whenever required. Key Responsibilities Videography & Shooting * Shoot Instagram Reels, social media content, brand videos, events, and other creative content. * Handle DSLR, mirrorless, and professional cameras. * Handle mobile-based shoots for Reels and social media content. * Understand camera settings including exposure, ISO, shutter speed, frame rate, focus, and white balance. * Handle basic lighting, framing, composition, and camera movements. * Capture high-quality footage according to the creative brief. * Coordinate with the creative/content team during shoots. * Be available for on-site shoots based on project requirements. Video Editing * Edit Reels, social media videos, promotional videos, and branded content remotely. * Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro. * Use Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, text animation, and visual effects where required. * Add subtitles, captions, music, sound effects, transitions, and basic graphics. * Perform basic colour correction and audio adjustments. * Make revisions based on creative feedback and project requirements. * Deliver final videos within the agreed timelines. Required Skills * Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing and/or videography. * Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. * Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects. * Good understanding of video editing, storytelling, transitions, colour correction, and sound. * Experience handling DSLR/mirrorless/professional cameras. * Good mobile videography skills, especially for Reels and social media content. * Understanding of lighting, framing, composition, and camera movement. * Strong creative sense and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. * Good communication and coordination skills. Preferred Experience * Experience working with a creative agency, production house, media company, or as a freelancer. * Experience creating Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, branded content, and social media campaigns. * Portfolio/showreel demonstrating both videography and video editing skills. Working Arrangement This is a freelance, project-based role. * Editing work will primarily be done remotely. * On-site presence will be required for shoots whenever needed. * Shoot requirements and schedules will be communicated in advance. * The frequency of work will depend on ongoing projects. * Payment will be based on the mutually agreed freelance/project terms.
