I’m planning a robust online marketplace that lets clients, freelancers, and agencies collaborate across virtually any skill or industry. The platform must support four distinct roles—client, freelancer, agency, and administrator—each with its own dashboard and permissions. Core functionality • Job flow: clients (and agencies when acting as buyers) can post work, receive proposals, and award projects. • Collaboration suite: once a contract starts, both sides need real-time chat, secure file sharing, and a lightweight work-tracking view so milestones and hours remain visible. • Payments & feedback: integrated escrow, milestone releases, and card or wallet checkout, followed by a two-way ratings/review system. Technical expectations I’m open to modern stacks—Laravel, Node.js, or a comparable framework on the back end; React, Vue, or similar on the front end—provided the code is modular, well-documented, and ready for future scaling. Payment handling should rely on PCI-compliant gateways such as Stripe or PayPal, and user data must follow best-practice encryption. Deliverables 1. Source code in a private repo with clear setup instructions. 2. Responsive web UI for the four user roles. 3. Admin panel covering user management, dispute flags, fee settings, and analytics. 4. Database schema and migration scripts. 5. Short video walkthrough plus a hand-off document outlining deployment and maintenance steps. Acceptance criteria • A new user from any role can register, verify email, and reach their respective dashboard. • A client can post a job, receive at least one proposal, hire, chat, exchange a file, log work hours, fund escrow, release payment, and leave a review—all without admin intervention. • Admin can suspend users, adjust commission percentages, and view platform earnings.
