Onsite Project Budgeting Analyst Bengaluru

I’m looking for a finance professional who can sit with our team in Bengaluru and take full ownership of project-based budgeting and forecasting. The work is hands-on and must be done onsite so you can gather real-time inputs from project managers, validate assumptions face to face, and quickly iterate models. Your core mandate is financial analysis focused on budgeting and forecasting at the individual-project level. I will rely on you to: • Build or refine dynamic budget models in Excel (or Google Sheets if you prefer) that track cost categories, billing milestones, and cash-flow timing. • Produce rolling forecasts that highlight variances versus plan and surface red-flag items early enough for corrective action. • Translate the numbers into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders, ideally through concise decks or lightweight dashboards. You should be comfortable extracting data from our existing accounting system, reconciling it with project inputs, and presenting your findings during weekly review meetings. Acceptance criteria 1. A working, spreadsheet-based model tailored to at least one live project, complete with scenario toggles. 2. A forecast report covering the next three quarters, including variance analysis and commentary. 3. A brief walkthrough (in person) so the internal team can maintain and update the model after you wrap up.
