Modify Existing Slider Assembly – STEP File / Mechanical CAD Project description I have an existing mechanical slider assembly supplied by a manufacturer. The complete design is available as a STEP file, and I need someone to make a number of modifications to the existing design. I have attached a screenshot of the assembly. I also have the CAD files for the replacement linear rails. This is primarily a modification job, not a design from scratch. Required modifications Modify existing parts: Change the dimensions of several components, including the base plate. I will provide the required dimensions. Remove components: Delete up to 8 existing parts from the assembly. Replace linear rails: Remove the existing rails and integrate the new rails. I will supply their CAD files. Add a new component: Add one new part with two holes and position it correctly within the assembly. I will provide the specifications and exact position. Add mounting holes: Add up to 10 additional holes to existing components. I will specify the exact positions, diameters and other relevant dimensions. Deliverables Updated complete assembly in STEP format. Separate STEP files for the individual modified or newly created parts. Native CAD files, if available. Dimensioned technical drawings for the modified or newly created parts where required for CNC machining. The final assembly should accurately reflect all the requested modifications, with the replacement rails correctly positioned. Required skills Mechanical CAD design and modification. Experience editing imported STEP files. Experience with mechanical assemblies and linear motion systems. Ability to prepare files suitable for CNC machining. Budget and timeline Please provide a fixed-price quote for the complete project, along with your estimated delivery time.
