UK Remote Quantity Surveyor

I have a steady stream of commercial projects in the UK—mostly offices, retail units and similar workspaces—and I need a quantity surveyor who can step in remotely and handle the pre-contract numbers with confidence. Your main focus will be: • Building clear, reliable cost estimates that I can submit with tenders. • Producing full bills of quantities and accurate digital take-offs from the drawings I supply. I’m not wedded to NRM, SMM7 or any other rule set, so if you already have a tried-and-tested template or software workflow that keeps everything consistent, we can roll with that. All I care about is that the figures are transparent, traceable and laid out in a way contractors and clients can follow without fuss. Expect to receive DWG/PDF plans, specification notes and a short brief for each scheme. Typical turnaround is one working week per project, although larger jobs may need staged submissions that we’ll agree in advance. If you’re comfortable pricing UK commercial builds, understand local market rates and can communicate clearly over email or Teams, I’d love to see examples of previous estimates or BoQs you’ve prepared.
