Whimsical Children’s Book Illustrator

I already have a complete set of AI-generated concept images for my upcoming children’s picture book, and I adore the look and feel they give the story. What I need now is a talented illustrator who can reinterpret each scene in a fully original, whimsical style so I can secure full copyright ownership of the artwork. The book will require a little over twenty separate illustrations—full-page spreads plus a cover—so you should be comfortable handling a larger series and keeping characters, color palette, and mood consistent from page to page. I do not need any text or labels built into the images; the focus is purely on the visuals. We’ll work from the AI mock-ups I provide: you’ll study the composition, capture the spirit, then redraw everything from scratch, adding your own creative touches while staying true to the playful, dream-like vibe. Final art must be delivered print-ready in high-resolution (300 dpi) PNG or TIFF for each page, along with layered source files (PSD, Procreate, or Illustrator—whatever you work in) so my designer can handle layout and small tweaks later on. All copyrights will transfer to me upon final payment. If whimsical characters, rich color, and storytelling through imagery are your strengths, I’d love to see your portfolio and hear how you’d approach translating these AI concepts into unique, fully original illustrations. I will be the book series as I have already written 2 additional books and have plans to write over a dozen more, so should I get the right illustrator, this will be an ongoing relationship.
