Sobre el empleo

For a scheduled Cisco switch migration at our Danville, IL facility, I need an L1 engineer physically present for at least one weekday plus the adjoining weekend; extra days may be added if the cutover pace demands it. Your core duties will be hands-on and straightforward: rack, cable, and clearly label each new switch exactly to the port map, then stay on site as first-line support while the remote network team executes the change. You’ll keep an eye on link lights, console output, and any alarms, pass real-time status to the off-site engineers, and help resolve simple physical issues on the spot. Only standard visitor sign-in with a photo ID is required for site access—no special clearances or PPE. All hardware and patch leads wait in the closet, but you’ll need to arrive with your own basic kit: “Required tools: Laptop, Console, Pen drive, Pen Marker, Screwdriver sets etc.” End-of-shift deliverables • Every assigned switch installed, powered, and labeled • Quick photo log of racks and cable paths • Short email report listing completed tasks, any incidents, and items needing follow-up Let me know whether you can cover the weekday slot, the weekend slot, or both, and confirm you have the listed tools so I can lock in the schedule.
