Mobile App Maintenance Retainer

**Project Title:** Monthly Retainer: Mobile App Maintenance, Bug Fixing & Content/UI Updates (iOS & Android) **Project Description:** We are looking for a reliable, experienced Full-Stack Mobile Developer (or small dev/design team) on a long-term monthly retainer to take over ongoing technical maintenance, bug fixing, and content/asset updates for an established consumer mobile application (iOS & Android). The app is already live and fully functional. There is no major ground-up development required—this is a steady maintenance and support contract covering up to 10–15 hours of blended developer and basic UI support per month. --- ### **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Infrastructure & Health Monitoring:** * Proactive uptime, API, and database monitoring (AWS / Firebase backend). * Review crash reports and error logs (e.g., Crashlytics / Sentry). * Ensure database integrity, backups, and SSL/token renewals. 2. **Bug Fixes & Patching:** * Timely investigation and resolution of reported code defects, glitches, or API integration errors. * Testing and QA for hotfixes before deployment. 3. **OS Compatibility & Release Management:** * Routine updates to SDKs and libraries to ensure continuous compliance with mandatory Google Play and Apple App Store target API requirements. * Compiling, signing, and publishing store releases/builds via Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console. 4. **In-App Content & Graphic Updates:** * Applying text/copy updates, static page adjustments, and dynamic banners. * Updating app store assets/screenshots or minor UI elements when required. --- ### **Requirements:** * Proven track record maintaining production mobile apps (iOS & Android). * Strong backend familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS / Firebase / REST APIs). * Experience with App Store Connect and Google Play Console release workflows. * Ability to respond to critical crash alerts within agreed business hours. * Clear, proactive communication and reliable logging of completed tasks/hours. --- ### **Engagement Terms:** * **Type:** Monthly Retainer (renewable ongoing). * **Budget:** $100 – $250 USD / month * **Included Capacity:** Up to 10–12 hours of on-call support/updates per month, (with possible rollovers) with additional hours pre-approved and billed at an agreed hourly rate. * Long-term partnership for the right candidate. **To apply:** Please share links to 1–2 mobile apps you currently maintain or have built, briefly describe your experience managing cloud backends/store consoles, and confirm your availability for an ongoing monthly retainer.
