You’ll jump straight into a modern stack where Python handles the heavy lifting on the back end and JavaScript drives interactive front-end experiences. Day to day you’ll design new features, refactor legacy pieces, write and debug code, and resolve production issues as they surface. The twist—and where you’ll really shine—is how comfortably you weave AI into that workflow. I already rely on GitHub Copilot for rapid scaffolding and on OpenAI GPT-3 for tasks such as test generation, documentation drafts, and quick proof-of-concept scripts. You should be just as fluent, knowing when these tools speed things up and when they need a human’s precision. Expect to work in a typical Git-based environment, contribute to code reviews, and help shape lightweight CI/CD pipelines so that each deploy is uneventful. Clean commit history, thorough unit tests, and concise documentation are the baseline for acceptance.
