Potable Water System Design

I’ve reached the point in my residential build where I need complete design plans for the potable water system. The scope is limited to cold and hot water distribution from the meter to every fixture—sanitary and storm lines are already covered elsewhere, so please keep the focus solely on potable supply. Deliverables I expect: • Dimensioned layout drawings (PDF + DWG) showing routing, pipe sizes, and elevations • Fixture unit & demand calculations, plus sizing rationale • Any required backflow prevention, pressure-reducing, and water heater specifications • A brief installation note set that a licensed plumber can follow I’ll review proposals primarily on relevant experience. If you’ve designed residential potable systems before—especially with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD/BIM tools—please point to that work. Turnaround needs to be comfortably within the next month, so outline a schedule that meets that window. Once we agree on the approach, I’ll supply architectural plans and fixture counts right away so you can begin modeling and calculations without delay.
