Video editor wanted – Day in the Life of a Builder Looking for someone to turn supplied footage into an engaging 3–4 minute video for Avgo Construction’s social media. The footage follows Jamie through his day—attending quotes, taking measurements, completing make-safes and finishing quotes at home. What I’m after: * Start with an attention-grabbing moment to hook viewers. * Select the best highlights and create a flowing story of his day. * Keep the pace engaging, removing pauses, repetition and unnecessary footage. * Use smooth transitions and a mix of talking clips and footage of him working. * Let Jamie’s personality, humour and natural interactions shine through. * Remove or crop out distracting background items where possible—particularly the clothes basket in the final clip. * Balance the audio, reduce background noise and add captions for spoken sections. * Add suitable background music that doesn’t overpower his voice. * Format vertically for social media, keeping Jamie and the work clearly in frame. The overall feel should be authentic, personable and professional, giving people a look at the person behind the business and what goes into his working day.
