Expertise in Optical Sensor Calibration Needed

Optical Calibration and thermal compensation Engineer - consultation The role We are looking for an engineer to make our optical sensors accurate, stable and consistent from one device to the next. You will build the calibration and normalisation process that turns raw optical signals into reliable measurements our customers can trust.

What you will do

Develop calibration methods and reference standards for our optical sensors Correct for LED drift, temperature effects and stray light Normalise readings so that every device gives the same result Design and run tests for repeatability and accuracy Work with our hardware, software and bioprocess team to validate results against standard lab measurements such as OD600 What we are looking for Degree in physics, optics, photonics, electronic engineering or a related field Hands-on experience with optical sensor calibration or measurement systems Familiarity with LEDs, photodiodes and signal processing Comfortable with data analysis in Python, MATLAB or similar Experience with biological or lab instruments is a plus, but not essential Work Location: Remote
