Mechanical CAD Design & Physical Prototype – 50L Smart Garbage Bin

We are Rollout Home Systems, a Canadian startup developing a smart household garbage bin. We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer or product design specialist to help develop our concept into a manufacturable design and produce one physical prototype. We will provide reference images illustrating the intended design. Product Specifications: Capacity: Approximately 50 litres. Approximate dimensions: 400 mm W × 300 mm D × 700 mm H. Material: Brushed stainless steel. Front-opening access door. Removable top lid. Manually sliding internal bag-support frame. Bag-clamping mechanism. Four caster wheels, including two locking casters. Internal space for electronic components, including a controller, battery, and weight sensors. The product does not require motors or automated opening mechanisms. Scope of Work: We are looking for: Complete 3D mechanical CAD design. Design for manufacturing (DFM) considerations. Detailed 2D manufacturing drawings. Editable CAD source files and STEP files. Assembly design and component integration. Manufacturing or coordination of one physical prototype. Electronic circuit design and firmware development are not required. What We Need From You: Please provide: Your estimated total project cost in USD. A breakdown of CAD design costs and physical prototype costs. Estimated timeline for design and prototype completion. Examples of previous mechanical product designs or physical prototypes. Whether you can manufacture and ship the physical prototype to Ontario, Canada.
