Agentic AI Literature Review

I need a PhD-level researcher to carry out a rigorous literature review on agentic AI. The assignment centres exclusively on surveying, analysing and synthesising the existing academic work in the field—no algorithm building or experimental design is required at this stage. Your job will be to: • Identify and collect the most relevant peer-reviewed papers, conference proceedings and authoritative white papers published in recent years. • Sift through them to map prevailing theories, methodologies and findings related to agentic-style artificial intelligence. • Critically evaluate the significance, strengths and gaps in the current body of knowledge. • Produce a well-structured review document with proper academic citations and a clear narrative that highlights trends, unanswered questions and promising future research directions. Feel free to draw from leading databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed, IEEE Xplore or any other specialist repositories you deem appropriate; I care most about depth, breadth and academic rigour. Deliverable: a polished, publication-ready literature review (approx. 6,000–8,000 words) accompanied by a complete bibliography in APA or other standard style.
