Excel Record Table Setup

I need my backlog of mixed text and numeric information consolidated into a single, tidy Excel workbook for ongoing record keeping. All data must live in a structured table—each row a record, each column clearly labelled—with filters and freeze panes enabled so I can quickly search, sort and update. Here’s the work at hand: • Import or copy the source files I’ll supply, standardising dates, currencies and other numeric fields. • Apply a clean table style and header hierarchy, then auto-size columns. • Build drop-down lists for key categorical fields and add light data-validation rules to prevent entry errors. • De-duplicate, spot-check against the originals and confirm that subtotals match. Deliverable: • One .xlsx file, fully formatted as described, plus a brief note of any assumptions or issues you encountered. Acceptance criteria: • Every supplied record is present, accurate and free of #VALUE! or formatting errors. • Filters, freeze panes and basic validation all function correctly. • File opens natively in Microsoft 365 without compatibility prompts.
