Electrical Panel Schematic Mapping

Engineer must be based in England and be able to travel (Lincolnshire area) I need a complete wiring schematic for an existing electrical control panel that currently runs without any formal documentation. You will be reverse-engineering what is already in the cabinet and turning it into a clear, professional drawing set. What I can provide • Physical access to the panel during agreed site hours • High-resolution photos of every section and component • Verbal or written notes describing functions, wire tags, and any observations I have made Scope of work You will trace every circuit, identify all devices and connections, and produce a legible schematic in a standard CAD format—AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar—along with a simple bill of materials. All wire numbers and component labels must match what you find on site so the drawing can be used for future troubleshooting and upgrades. Acceptance criteria • Complete multi-sheet schematic showing power, control, and field I/O • BOM listing part numbers, ratings, and quantities • Native CAD files plus locked PDFs ready for printing • A short hand-over session (video call or on site) to walk through the drawing set and answer questions If you have experience capturing undocumented panels and are comfortable working with live equipment safely, let’s schedule the first visit and get this documented.
