VR/XR Developer Needed for Interactive Virtual Pharmacy – 20-Day Delivery

We are looking for an experienced VR / AR / XR development company or team to design and build a high-quality interactive Virtual Pharmacy experience for use at a live event. This is a time-sensitive project. A working and testable version must be delivered within a maximum of 20 calendar days from the project start date. Project Overview The user will wear a VR/XR headset and enter a visually attractive virtual pharmacy. Inside the virtual pharmacy, the user should be able to: - Browse products displayed on virtual shelves - View product details and specifications - See the estimated quantity currently available in their inventory - Select a product - Compare available sellers and prices - Select a seller - Choose the required quantity - Add products to a shopping cart - Review the shopping cart - Submit the final order to our platform through an API The experience must be simple and intuitive enough for a first-time VR user to understand with minimal instruction. Product Data At the beginning of each session, our platform will provide up to 200 user-specific products. For each product, we will provide: - Product name - Product information/specifications - Estimated quantity currently available in the pharmacist's inventory - Available sellers - Price from each seller - 2D product image We do not expect a dedicated 3D model to be created for every product. Instead, we want the selected team to propose a creative, professional, and visually attractive solution for displaying the provided 2D product images within the 3D pharmacy environment and shelves. This will be an important part of our proposal evaluation. Generic 3D pharmacy products/models may also be used to make the environment look realistic, complete, and visually rich. Expected User Flow The main user journey should be: Start Session → Welcome Screen → Enter Virtual Pharmacy → Browse Products → Select Product → View Product Details → Select Seller → Select Quantity → Add to Cart → Review Cart → Submit Order The welcome screen should display: - User name - Pharmacy name The shopping cart should remain easily accessible during the experience without blocking or interfering with the main view. Interaction Requirements There will be no additional wearable devices or hand-mounted sensors. Interaction should rely on the native capabilities of the selected VR/XR headset, such as: - Hand tracking - Gaze interaction - Gesture interaction - Natural pointing and selection - Controller-free interaction where practical and reliable The selected team should recommend the most natural and reliable interaction method, especially for users with little or no previous VR experience. Hardware We will purchase and provide the hardware separately. The setup will include: - 1 primary headset - 1 backup headset The headset experience must support casting or mirroring to an external display, allowing the audience around the user to watch the experience live. The final headset model will be agreed with the selected team before development begins to ensure compatibility with the proposed solution. Hardware cost should NOT be included in your quotation. API / Platform Integration Our platform will provide: - User/session ID - User name - Pharmacy name - Product data - Product images - Inventory quantities - Seller information - Pricing - API endpoint for receiving the final shopping cart/order results The VR application must consume this data, display it correctly inside the experience, and send the completed shopping results back to our API. Timeline – Critical Requirement A working and testable version must be delivered within a maximum of 20 calendar days. The 20-day build must support the complete core flow: Enter Pharmacy → Browse Products → Select Product → Select Seller → Select Quantity → Add to Cart → Review Cart → Submit Results Additional visual polishing and final improvements may continue afterward according to the agreed project schedule. Please do not bid if you cannot provide a functional and testable version within 20 calendar days. Quality Expectations The final experience should feel polished and suitable for presentation at a live event. We will pay special attention to: - Overall visual quality - Quality of the virtual pharmacy environment - Shelf and product presentation - Lighting and spatial design - Smooth performance - Natural and intuitive interaction - Readability of product information - Quality of the solution used to present 2D product images inside the 3D environment - Ease of use for first-time VR users - Stable and responsive interaction - Reliable API integration - Professional presentation when mirrored to an external display We prefer practical solutions that can deliver excellent results quickly rather than unnecessarily complex technical implementations.
